Hortus Conclusus, 2009
Occupation of Galeria Vermelho’s terrace, São Paulo, September-November 2009.
Hortus Conclusus – “closed garden” in Latin, is the name given in the 15th century’s painting and poetry to the theme that represents the Virgin Mary sitting with her child in a small walled garden.
With the intent of expanding the visitors’ staying time at the gallery’s terrace-belvedere, in a four-month period three consecutive interventions were installed there.
